Where I add value

I do my best work when something new is taking shape or a challenge calls for fresh thinking and clear direction. I combine creative thinking with commercial understanding and strategic judgement to spot opportunities and find better ways forward.

I enjoy giving ambitious ideas direction and bringing people together around a shared vision. But I also like getting hands-on, experimenting and building things myself, using AI to turn ideas into reality.

What drives me is building towards a positive future together with bold people: creating things that matter and leaving the world a little better than I found it.

Creative Thinking

Seeing connections, possibilities and new angles has always come naturally to me. I am at my best when something is still open and needs a fresh perspective before it takes shape.

Commercial Understanding

I have a good feel for whether an idea can become a healthy business and where its value comes from. I look for customer value, sound economics and a model that can hold up in practice.

Strategic Judgement

When things get complex, I focus on the few decisions and priorities that matter most. I help create clarity so people understand the goal, make good decisions and take ownership.

Hands-On Execution

The big picture matters to me, but I like getting into the details and doing the work. I use AI to build and test ideas quickly and turn them into something tangible that people can use.

Purpose & Impact

I care about work that creates value for people and means something beyond the business itself. I am drawn to companies that combine commercial success with positive impact.

My current focus

The shift I see

The real opportunity isn't AI itself. It's the companies we can build around it.

AI is changing how companies are built and run. Even market leaders may face unexpected competition from companies a fraction of their size. The challenge is turning AI into a core capability that creates greater value for customers and strengthens the business.

Large organisations can combine their scale and customer trust with startup-like agility. Startups can gain capabilities that once required much larger teams. Both can increase productivity, use capital more efficiently and bring the right ideas to market faster.

But greater capacity doesn't automatically make a company more competitive. AI raises the stakes: it amplifies the value of what a company gets right and the cost of what it gets wrong.

Realising AI's potential means rethinking how companies are organised and led. That takes a customer-centric mindset, a culture that innovates and adapts quickly, and the judgement to prioritise and know when to stop.
